This afternoon the team was called out to assist South West ambulance, to reports of 2 males suffering from heatstroke, in the West okement valley between Kitty tor and Dinger Tor.
Many of our members left work and along with the ambulance “Hazardous Area Response Team” deployed to the agreed RV. Very soon they find out, that the Devon air ambulance had managed to land nearby and extract the casualties back to Okehampton camp. To RV with land ambulance.
Members then stood down, to return home and enjoy the sunny evening
