At approx 5pm the team was called to assist the police with the search for a missing lady from Babbacombe.
The coastguard searched the cliffs and RNLI search the coastline from the sea.
We searched the Petit Tor point area.
With fading light the identified area’s had been completed the search was suspended and the police continued with their investigations.
It is unusual for us to go to South Devon, but due to the on going deployment of Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Ashburton to the missing person at Bradninch, we were the next available resource.
This is the third evening in a row that the team has been deployed
