Saturday 23 March – Lost Person Search Managers course
NDSART accompanied our colleagues to assist Devon & Cornwall Police with their Lost Person Search Managers course at Venford Reservoir.
Throughout the day, various scenarios were set up and members from Search and Rescue teams and Mountain Rescue from across Devon and Cornwall were tasked to complete the scenarios with members of the Police.
The day brought together multiple agencies and we were joined by Fire and Rescue, Coastguard, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Ashburton, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Plymouth and West Cornwall Search & Rescue Team, East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team, Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response and a big thanks to Rapid Relief Team UK for providing the catering for the day.
