NDSART were called at 10:20 to support East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team with the search for a high-risk missing person in the Tintagel area.
Team Members covered a large search area and were accompanied by Polzeath Coastguard, Boscastle Coastguard Team, Bude Coastguard Rescue Team, Devon & Cornwall Police and NPAS to search the surrounding fields, coastal paths, woodland, coasts and cliffs throughout the day.
The Team was stood down at 16:30 as the light was failing and the weather was coming in, and it was decided to scale back the search whilst the police continued with their investigations.
