The team were called out today by Devon & Cornwall Police to help search for a high risk missing person, near Plymouth.
We worked with assistance from Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response, allowing us to move throughout the search areas much easier.
Teams from Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Ashburton, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Plymouth and East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team worked between Friday evening and Sunday helping to look for the missing person, before we were called in to continue the search, today.
Thankfully, after starting our search, we found the missing person later in the evening safe and well.
