The team was called out to assist with the search of a missing 19 year old male who had last been seen swimming in a river at Kings Nympton, near Chulmleigh.
Our team, along with teams from
Exmoor Search & Rescue Team, Chulmleigh Fire Station, South Molton Fire Station
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Devon & Cornwall Police searched the river, river banks and the surrounding fields. The search eventually resulted in him being located in the river at 22:45.
