Last night at 20:45. The team was called out to assist with the search for a missing teenager in the Shebbear area.
11 of our members where joined by members of Exmoor Search and Rescue team, Devon and Somerset fire and Rescue and a search dog from MRSDE ( SARDA)
Support with transport was provided by Devon and Cornwall 4×4 response.
As teams started to deploy to the high probability area’s a police unit located her on a road approx 2.5km away. Safe and well, although cold and very wet.
Great to see a true multi agency callout at work.
