At approx. 7am on Monday morning we had a request from Exmoor Search and Rescue Team, for additional resources to help with the search for an 88 yr old missing female from Tiverton, who had not been seen since the early hours.
Due to the state of the river Exe after storm Dennis, our Swiftwater Rescue Technicians along with teams from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue, helped to search the areas surrounding the rivers and water courses.
After a long day searching the team stood down, without the missing lady being located.
