Just after 10pm last night the team was called out to search for a missing male in the Sowton village area.
8 of our team members and 4 members from DSRT Ashburton worked along side the Devon and Somerset Frire and Rescue’s USAR and and Water Rescue Team searched the water courses and land surrounding the village.
At around 1:30 this morning, the man was located, not far from his home address, thankfully unharmed, just exhausted and cold, after being out for over 11 hours.
This was a multi agency response and only 7 hours after being stood down from a previous search.
